The Alaska Gateway School District's Work Study Program has been very successful in helping students prepare for their future careers by matching them with community partners. Eligible junior and senior students are paid through AGSD's RAVE grant and earn elective credit for their work in the community while gaining important career skills. AGSD is currently working with 11 community partners and approximately 20 work study students. Students can also earn high school credit for jobs they already have outside of the program if they participate in the goal setting, evaluation, and reflection process. Please contact Ms. Ashlee Copper with any questions about the program or view the Work Study Informational Packet.
